The ethnography of religion collections illustrate the rituals that mark every stage of life, from birth to death. Mainly linked to the Catholic tradition, these objects bear witness to the considerable changes affecting these practices over two centuries. They are baptism, communion or wedding gifts, clothing, modest relics, souvenirs, announcements, etc. They question our own relationship to life, death, spirituality, (self-)care and memory.
