In 2004, the Richelieu service club of Tournai installed a bronze sculpture representing Martine and Patapouf in the rue Perdue, not far from the Grand' place. For its creation, the service club called upon the sculptor Carlos Surquin (Chapelle-à-Oie 1937) who worked closely with Marcel Marlier (1930-2011) to design the work. In 2019, Carlos Surquin offered the Friends of the MuFIm this silicone stage of the miniature version of the sculpture before it was cast in bronze.
