À la croisée de nombreux thèmes qui intéressent l’ethnologie (métiers artisanaux, histoire culturelle, économique, sociale, de la mobilité, des produits...), la thématique “Commerce”, proposée pour 2024 par le réseau Proscitec, est l'occasion d’une réinterprétation de l’exposition permanente et un axe de travail pour le chantier des collections. Le Musée de Folklore et des Imaginaires se donne à voir en construction, les visiteurs sont invités à redécouvrir, au fil des mois, les riches collections en stock.
Op de kruising van tal van thema's die van belang zijn voor de etnologie (ambachtelijke beroepen, culturele, economische en sociale geschiedenis, mobiliteit, producten enz.) is het thema 'Handel', dat voor 2024 is voorgesteld door het netwerk Proscitec, de gelegenheid om de permanente tentoonstelling te herinterpreteren en vormt het een werkpijler voor het werk aan de collecties. Straddling numerous themes related to ethnology (traditional crafts; cultural, economic and social history; the history of mobility and products, etc.), the 2024 theme of “Trade”, as suggested by the Proscitec network, offers an opportunity to reinterpret the permanent exhibition and provides a focus for work on the collections. The Museum of Folklore and Imagination remains open while this revamp takes place, and over the coming months, visitors are invited to rediscover the rich collections held in storage.
